Black & White District

Painting on Elephants is Cool

The first addition to a new series we're doing. Does anyone recall strange motorbikes and crazy tekkonkinkreet style elephants on TV lately? That backflash served as our starting point.

Visual Diary

Here are some more images for the online visual diary. Quick sketches done by fusing different ideas to create a new creature. We call them Chimera. Yeah we're quite the alchemists at the District.

Black and White Districts Visual Diary

Hey. These are a couple of scanned images we found here and there. We figured why let such cool drawings go to waste at the back of history books. Enjoy.

Inspiration

This piece of graphic was the inspiration for our slogan:

Lolita Illustration

Lolita is an Illustration that Dale did that we accidentally used for our Business Card.

Her ice cream might be cold, but she's definitely hot!

AMELIES!

Isn't she just the cutest!

A reinterpretation photo shoot of the movie, Amelie, Dale did for a movie-poster project.

Modeling Portfolio

A client came to us wanting a professional-lokking modeling portfolio to show a modeling agency what he's made of.

Some of the results:

Hair and Make-Up Project

We did a project for a student who studies Hair and Make-Up for his final portfolio.

These are two of his results:

This was our first client just so by the way.

Business Card

Check out the back of our Business Card.

Copy it your computer to keep.

You'll use it someday!

Black and White Film Workshop

A while back, we attended a black and white dark room workshop, that tough us the basics of photo processing. What we did with this lovely, antique-styled composition is that we scanned the negative with a computed scanner and then photoshop.... oops! Enjoy.

The studio basically done!

The studio is basically done. There are just some finishing paint jobs to do, a few pillows to through on the flour in front of the window, then, vuala!
